Dual Metal shielding protects the signals both from exterior interference and from the cable interfering with other devices. We use a combination of both braided and foil shield for maximum effect.
The UAG Standard
Cable is reinforced with our signature braided nylon as a first line of protection. The second layer is the TPE jacket which is far superior than traditional PVC or PUR. TPE is recyclable, very flexible and has excellent cold temperature qualities, -50 to 125⁰C.
